Mix 021 - LIVE
Our latest radio dispatch comes from the field, two nice slices from our last throw down at Golden Lion with Neil Diablo. Getting our heads together to work out the tracklist seems a stretch, but if you ask us nicely, we’ll see what we can do.
Part A hits you with the wavy warm-up, a selection of space heaters brimming with the power cosmic. A balanced equation of dub, kosmische, Scandi sleaze and mechanical funk, spun with the invisible energy of the Large Hadron Collider. CERN tackle for the discerning dancer…
Part B comes from the opposite end of the night, when the room was a riot of shapes and colours. Keeping it as diverse as the Lion’s crowd, there’s Italo, bleep, breaks, house, and Latin disco drama to be found. Imagine you’re a Todmorden pixie and throw your best angular shapes.
